Cancellation Policy
It is our goal to provide high quality speech and language therapy services. In order to do this, All About Speech Therapy Ltd has in place this cancellation policy.
The policy enables us to better utilise available appointments for our clients.
Cancellation of an Appointment
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we require that you call or message us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time.
How to Cancel Your Appointment
To cancel appointments please email, or call / text the clinician directly, regarding the reason for cancellation and any requests to reschedule the appointment.
This will mean that you avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations due to Illness
In the event of unexpected ill health, we request that you contact us by 8am and leave a message to notify us of this. We understand that children are more likely to get sick and have allowed for this in our policy. As such, we will waive the first cancellation fee due to sickness, per child. Subsequent cancellations on the day, due to ill health, will be charged at 50% of the standard appointment fee.
Non Attendance for an Appointment
Non attendance is classed as missing an appointment without providing notice. This includes appointments at your home as well as appointments scheduled at a nursery or school setting. No– shows inconvenience others and mean that we are unable to see another child who is waiting for our service. The first no–show will not be charged, however any subsequent no–shows will be charged at 100% of the scheduled appointment fee.
