Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or requests to reschedule an appointment. This allows us the opportunity to offer the session to another client.
- Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) may be charged at the full session rate, except in cases of emergency or sudden illness.
- Non-Attendance / No-Show: Failure to attend a session without prior notice may result in
the full session fee being charged.
Illness
Please do not attend sessions if you or your child are unwell (e.g. fever, vomiting, contagious conditions). Virtual sessions may be offered as an alternative, where appropriate.

Lateness
If you are late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you within your scheduled time slot. However, the session may need to be shortened and will still be charged at the full rate. If the therapist/assistant is late, you will receive the full session duration or have the option to reschedule.

Frequent Cancellations or Absences
Consistent attendance is key to progress. If a pattern of frequent cancellations or non-attendance emerges (e.g. more than 3 missed sessions in a 2-month period), we may:
- Reassess the suitability of continuing therapy at this time.
- Offer the appointment slot to another client on our waiting list.
- Request a review meeting to discuss any challenges with attendance.
Therapist Cancellations
If your therapist/assistant is unable to attend a scheduled session, we will provide as much notice as possible and arrange a rescheduled appointment, where possible, at the earliest convenience. No charge will apply for therapist/assistant cancellations.
